What We Do

GGS inspires communities to create a culture of wellness by connecting food, health and the environment in the classroom, in the lunchroom and on the playground.

Why We Do It

According to the CDC more than a third of U.S. children and adolescents are overweight or obese. We must supply them with the tools necessary to make changes to become a healthier generation.

Get Involved

You can make a difference by getting involved in the work that is happening in our community everyday. Help with salad bar days, farmers’ markets, school gardens and recess activities.
